Any ideas you come up with to assist with making life easier you get pushed back on. If you have the experience, they will pay someone with entry level experience just as much as someone who has 10 - 20 years experience and justify it. Don't ask for a raise either as they don't believe in equitable pay and they will make excuses to justify their reasoning.
