At its heart, Corpay is a company led by mediocre men (predominantly white) who find their power in talking down to their subordinates and somehow being experts in everything. Take the new "Corpay Guy." He represents how leadership wishes to be perceived, and with the hairline, they wish they still had. On my team, you'd be hard-pressed to find more than 3 of the 20+ members actively looking for their escape. If I had a healthier savings account, I'd quit and never look back. Women will find navigating the old boys' club incredibly challenging - there is no "Corpay Gal" after all. On my team, the male leaders have better titles and presumably better pay than their female counterparts. Multiple times, I've witnessed female leaders voice an idea only to have it struck down by management. Mere moments later, a male leader will repeat what the women previously said, only to have the concept praised. Everything is a priority, and fire drills are constant. I can't recall a time when there wasn't a fire drill. This continuous chaos and lack of strategic planning puts all its employees in the lurch, constantly trying to figure out what we're doing. On top of this, you will not get paid a fair market rate for your work - unless you pretend it's 2005 and that boxes of cereal don't cost nearly $10. You'll notice a continuous stream of openings available at Corpay, Fleetcor, and other brands. Those jobs are open primarily because a perfectly reasonable employee made the tough choice to uproot their career and move on because the environment is toxic and unhealthy.
