The historic hotel does not meet the modern travelers expectations for many aspects, and you deal with disproportionately much more complaints that other hotels.

The guests were always lovely, and made the job fulfilling.

Management was awful, no support from them. Favoritism, enabling one person something but not the other. No structure; expectations and rules change by the day. Upper management turns a blind eye to misconduct and abuse of all forms. No loyalty from the company to its employees. Wage theft, illegal time clock adjustments, sexual harrassment from superiors, hostile work environment, all condoned by upper management.
