In April of 2020, Covenant announced that salespeople’s commission checks for Q2 would not be paid, and suspended indefinitely, due to the anticipated market volatility caused by COVID-19. Additionally, they suspended their contributions to employees' 401k plans indefinitely. Fast forward to an internal sales organization conference in October of 2020; the same members of “leadership” stood before us celebrating and informed us with a straight face that Covenant was experiencing its most profitable year since its inception. However, they had no intentions of reinstating our commission plans and 401k contributions. These benefits were not reinstated until 2021. I have never witnessed a company with so many inept, simple-minded ne’er-do-wells in Senior Executive level roles.
