$10 an hour is pathetic for a lifeguard. lots of training to go through before they even have you officially hired on with paperwork completed. I can't get an answer if training is paid or even what the hourly pay is. I had to find out from here what the pay might be. I keep asking and told it was $9 an hour last year, but "should" be higher this year. This place seems like they're taking advantage of teens. The county pools pay almost twice as much. I'm checking them out now.
