The biggest concern especially in this summer is that, it is extremely hot within the establishment, with all the ovens running, despite a huge portable air conditioner blowing down the hallway, customers and myself will be sweating. Our managers are rarely there which relieves pressure but then, when customers have problems, we really have not much ability to do anything. I rarely get sufficient hours and the hours I get are from 6:30pm - 1:15am which becomes the longest shift of my life as there isn't a place to sit for ourselves and even the customers in the hot establishment. Lastly, I had an experience in which the manager and all of my other coworkers in the shift were speaking Spanish and I had no idea what was going on. Yeah, maybe I'm being absurd, but I feel that if you are going to converse with your employers, you want to communicate with everyone rather than being so selective.
