Experience (you get to wear many hats to keep up with deadlines).
PMs are mostly good to work with.

Can't keep up with industry standard programs.
No health care.
Raises are 3-5% (so request for a much higher salary than you normally would).
Only advancement opportunity is to wait for a PM to leave and try to secure that spot.
Owner micro manages whether or not you're ahead of schedule.
You have to juggle 4-10 projects at once.
Not a bad company to start at but a lot of smaller things add up to general unhappiness and stress.
