Loss Prevention at Cub Foods is a pretty sweet gig. You write your own schedule (with a few simple guidelines), supervisors are great and always helpful, there's lots of room for personal growth as an LP agent, and the other agents are friendly and helpful. If you come in to work every day, catch a bad guy now and then, maybe even bust an employee every so often, this job could be your dream job. The freedom is great; your home store is yours to run and you'll only see your boss about once every 1-2 weeks. After six months, you get vacation time, sick time, and personal days. Cub's benefits package is pretty good and includes health, dental and vision insurance, as well as 401k, stock purchase plans, and lots of miscellaneous perks including mileage. If you want to be a cop someday, or think a career is LP is the right path for you, Cub Foods will get you going in the right direction.

Svantaggi

Starting pay is average, and you shouldn't expect much more than 6% in raises per year. Raises are merit based and 6% is on the high end of the raise scale. If you want to get ahead in the company you will need to play politics and make yourself available to do lots of additional tasks at your supervisor/manger's discretion. The company has been known for giving LP agents "just enough rope to hang themselves", but if you stay on task, show up for work, and don't nap on the job, you'll be fine.
