- No growth: if you're a good performer you'll be pressured to give your best performance for unsustainably prolonged periods without any reasonable growth or compensation (which is possibly your key motive to work in a startup like this). - Extremely poor work-life balance. (you need to be available 24x7, literally) - Complacent and ignorant HR. - A lot of the managers are straight-up stupid, you can't reason with them. - No acknowledgment and appreciation for employees' efforts and talents, either verbally or in the form of incentives and perks. - Very loose concept of weekly offs, national holidays, or their compensation offs. - Immense negative impact on overall mental health.
