My time at Curriculum Associates has been the most valuable time in my career so far. I am surrounded by kind, thoughtful, caring people, who work INCREDIBLY hard to make our products the best they can be. CA is a family oriented company, where we are treated as people first, employee second. Our value to treat each other with grace is echoed in all interactions at CA. Our commitment to service and our customers is unmatched by the rest of the industry. While we do move at a lightning speed, the people who work at CA are talented enough to pull it off.
The CEO leads with integrity and commitment to his people. Everyone's thoughts are heard and valued. We work hard because we want what's best for teachers and students.

If you demand clarity and established processes, CA may not be the place for you. We are constantly changing and evolving, so from week to week things can change a lot.

Great people even if we are remote. Good benefits.

They keep moving the goal post while piling on more expectations. First it was opening an office in India to "chase the sun" (98 US employees got layed off before the holidays. CEO sent out a recorded message admitting that conducting business is cheaper in India. No employees outside the US were layed off), next asking what employees would be willing to give up benefit wise (keep in mind they are known for being on the lower end of market with compensation) and now forcing mandatory fun days for a small percentage of employees who are remote not hybrid (they won't be tracking you but if you don't attend it will be part of your performance review. Asking for an exception is possibly a trap or test to see who is a "team player"). This all feels like a trap or a bad dream. The foundation is cracking under the weight of growing without taking a break for things to adjust. I'm burnt out and exhausted. Always waiting for the next shoe to drop will do that. I do my work, I do it well but that doesn't seem to be good enough anymore.

We hear your concerns about the pace of change recently and recognize that a lot of change landing at once can feel less like growth and more like pressure. Burnout is something we take seriously, and we're working to make sure the "why" behind these decisions is communicated clearly.
We believe that being together in person makes us stronger as a team. And we also value flexibility, which is why we're asking for just 6 days a month from employees local to our Billerica office, not a full return to office. Flexibility has been, and will continue to be, core to how we work.
