Probably the most miserable place I have ever worked. - Recensione dipendente - IT Technician presso Curtiss-Wright

Vantaggi

Benefits are decent but if you stay there I am very certain the life insurance will not pay out for suicide. There are some truly good people there who keep their heads down saying nothing as they are walked on.

Svantaggi

Well this is going to be long. Management has a fail upwards mentality. They take credit for your success as they blame their failures on those who work for them. They place people into roles they are absolutely not qualified for in every aspect of the company. They also watch people resign who do good work and say absolutely nothing. When you try to advance your career you’re told numerous lines such as “It would set you up for failure.” and “Your last training was not related to the position.” All the while they hire people with little to no experience so they can lowball their pay. If I had a worst enemy I wouldn’t recommend them to work at that place

Vantaggi

Staff appreciate the job stability, good pay/benefits relative to the Aerospace & Defense industry, and highly professional engineering teams. Many report a strong sense of purpose and trust in their immediate colleagues.

Svantaggi

On the downside, some reviewers cite a top-heavy, process-oriented management structure, occasional disjointed communication across departments, and strict, high-pressure deadlines.

Vantaggi

Good retirement program. Not so good medical benefits

Svantaggi

The company has talented employees and strong potential, but one of the biggest concerns is that HR appears to operate more as an extension of senior management rather than as an independent resource for employees. Concerns and complaints are frequently raised, yet employees rarely see meaningful action or follow-up. This creates a perception that issues are acknowledged but not addressed, which can impact trust, morale, and overall workplace culture. Greater transparency, accountability, and employee advocacy from HR would significantly improve the work environment.
