CEO is completely out of touch with company. Besides living in another state and visiting "the office" sporadically, he barely knows employees names and has no clue what is going on day-to-day. Good luck if you have to work with him. Profit over people here, which is fine from a CEO, but when he touts "the company is a family," it's hypocritical. "Senior" leadership is laughable - HR does not respond to questions, concerns and most upsetting, any serious offenses. Additionally, senior leadership and HR was always looking to gossip and asking questions about other staffers, which is beyond uncomfortable. The senior leadership team also makes up stories from one day to the next. For instance, they told staff there did not have a "Senior Account Director" position, but then promoted someone to that position a week or two later. If you are promised a bonus or raise or title promotion, good luck actually getting your money. Frequently, the promise is "wait until your six month review," and then it's "wait until your year review." Sometimes you get the title promotion, but very often that comes without money. If you bring this up with any senior leader or your supervisor, they talk in circles and you never get a straight answer. Working from home is nice, until you realize you are supposed to be responsive 24/7. Vacation, bereavement, maternity leave, you better be checking your email. Long-term stability is non-existent. Nobody knows the 3 or 5 year plan. And don't bother asking, you won't get a straight answer.
