At DHL there is a really great office culture. You have access to managers who help you set and meet sales targets. Upper management really cares about employees and there are a lot of opportunities to get involved beyond your basic job description. We had a kickball team, did volunteer projects at local schools and there was a small gym at the office!

Svantaggi

Fast paced environment, which can be good but if you accept this job, realize 90% of your day is spent making sales calls. There's a mix of following up on leads, cold calling and maintaining your existing customer base. If you don't like being on the phone making 50+ calls a day this is not the job for you.

Great compensation, benefits, and hours. Get to know many clients and businesses on route. Lots of exercise. Lots of alone time.

For some, the alone time can be very lonely. You are in a van or truck for many hours. Podcasts, radio, hands-free: get to love it. Sometimes logistics can be unpredictable. Delays, traffic, on-call pickups. You have to be very flexible and adaptive with fairly quick critical thinking skills to excel at this job.
