Wages are not very competitive. Benefits are extremely expensive and and the best health plans have high deductibles and no prescription coverage. Providing stock investment options is more important to administration than providing higher wages and better health care plans to employees. This has been staunchly defended in quarterly announcements. Work life balance is not important for management. Corporate meetings can be tense with some of the senior administration and they can be abrasive. They show little engagement with employees. Certain aspects of work are micromanaged. Badging system at the corporate office is militant. Employees are only allowed to leave the campus during lunch hours and must be back on campus before a certain time. Any deviation to core and lunch hours is met with swift consultation with numerous managers. Employees facing life threatening illnesses are meet with little empathy from HR and senior management.
