Companies that don't care about their employees will never make it in Silicon Valley. I made the mistake of taking a job at DNN. They made many promises, but none of them were kept. For the past three years, DNN has cleaned house, and the beginning of Q4 of this year was no exception. The situation was so stressful that many employees decided to quit. The company went from having a sales team of 12 to a team of two. Management blames everyone else for the struggles of the company when, in reality, they are the problem, and until the management is replaced, I don't see a future for this company. My best advice is, if you have any other offers, don't make the mistake I did; use DNN as the last resource.

-CEO is a great person to learn sales from -Chill environment -Very excellent product with a huge following in the Microsoft world -Senior leadership is very nice, they have no attitudes against employees -Excellent comp plan, you can make a lot of money working here (on a new business team of 5-7 people, at least 2-3 are making over $200k annually --- but you have to be patient and work hard the first 8 months) -Work life balance is very reasonable and expectations are clear from CEO downwards

-.NET is not being used as much as it was during the heyday of Microsoft, but nonetheless is still extremely popular (helps you as a salesperson!) -location isn't great, but isn't bad either (depends where you live) -Perks are not great, but the money you can potentially make should allay this

Management hires selectively, but democratically. Management genuinely cares about the success and professional development of employees. Office culture is constantly transforming, but at the moment, vibes are friendly and relaxed, with an edge of competitiveness. Trending towards healthier snacks, as well. Work-life balance is strong if you have the will-power to take advantage of your afternoons/evenings. Pay is pretty standard for standard achievement; over achievement is rewarded handsomely.

Ain't no one livin' in San Mateo, lemme tell you that. Commute from the city isn't too bad, if you're in sync with the sales team. Past snacking options tended to be sugar-laiden, teeth-destroyers, but that's changing. Soda is still a worrisome epidemic.
