Vantaggi

Management is extremely accessible and will not only listen, but also actively ask for opinions from employees. You have the ability to get a lot of exposure and experience communicating and selling to senior executives at other companies. This helps to develop sound business acumen and a robust skill set. Also have exposure to the DSG consultants themselves, who are experienced, intelligent, and team players. Great chance to learn from them and to network. Great blend and balance of autonomy and support. Always able to get feedback from managers and senior employees, but also able to have freedom in my daily activities and sales approach. Lots of room for upward mobility and growth. Great work/life balance

Svantaggi

People think that living in Little Rock is a con, but I would disagree. Little Rock is what you make of it, and has plenty to do. There are good people here, good restaurants, and a good culture. There is so much to get involved in at a community-level and because it is a small city, you can make an impact.

Vantaggi

The company is very family-oriented. You feel at home when you work. Breaks are permitted and encouraged. Snacks are great. You are allowed to listen to music while on the job. There are plenty of events to hang out with employees for quarterly celebrations/meetings. I have learned a lot about Microsoft Excel and Salesforce and many Data-Entry skills from this position which I find very useful for future career pursuits.

Svantaggi

Communication within is pretty awful, especially between the interns that are researching accounts and contacts, the foundation of the firm's business, and leadership. I feel like we're not in sync and are repeating the same problems and my supervisor has no idea how to fix it. No communication between campaign manager and supervisor for better accuracy of emails. I feel like advice/suggestions from interns are ignored at times. It is a cubicle job, so days at the office are mundane and repetitive at times. Pay is OK, but definitely not the best. You start out at $9/hour, and if you do really well, you get $10/hour, a $1 raise. For an internship, that's alright, but definitely not a huge incentive to do your best and work hard, plus lead projects if asked. I was impressed, however, by a large incentive for staying with DSG 90 days after my raise.
