Camaraderie amongst coworkers. My colleagues were good people, and the daily jokes and banter keeps the spirits up.

Management. Management only cares about themselves and the bonuses they can squeeze from the hard working shop floor. They risk our safety by cheaping out on safety equipment. Torn lift slings were encouraged to be used because they did not want to buy more. Long hours due to poor project management and the sales team lying to customers about delivery dates without consulting production. Nothing is ever in order. At first I thought I was crazy because none of their business decisions make any sense but over time I realize people stopped caring and decided to let management be their own demise. Low pay, never any raises, definitely never any bonuses.

DXP strikes a balance that works well for me: it is highly results-driven without being overly bureaucratic. Although it is a large publicly traded company, local branches often maintain a personal, family-business atmosphere. Employees wear many hats, which creates opportunities to learn different aspects of the business and develop a broad skill set.

Svantaggi

DXP has a relatively flat organizational structure, which can make upward career progression more challenging than at larger organizations with multiple management layers. The company is also not as widely recognized as many Fortune 500 companies. Because of this, attracting and retaining top talent often requires additional effort and involvement at the local level.
