I’ve had a genuinely positive experience working at Daksta. Like any recruitment business, it’s a fast-paced environment with high expectations, but that’s made very clear from the outset. If you’re looking for somewhere that will invest in your development, provide support, and reward good performance, it’s a great place to be. The leadership team are approachable and always looking at ways to improve the business, whether that’s through technology, training or new processes. There has been a real focus on making consultants more efficient by reducing admin and giving people better tools to do their jobs. The culture is competitive, but supportive. Success is celebrated, people help each other, and there are regular incentives, team events and opportunities to progress. I’ve seen people develop quickly because they’re given responsibility and trusted to take ownership. No workplace is perfect, and there are always things that can be improved, but my experience has been that feedback is listened to and genuine effort is made to make the business better.

Recruitment isn’t for everyone. It’s demanding and there are high expectations, so if you’re looking for a relaxed environment with little accountability, this probably isn’t the right fit.

I would strongly discourage anyone from working here. In my experience, the culture was toxic, morale was poor, and I felt that employees who fell out of favour with management were not treated fairly. I had serious concerns about how references and billing were handled. I found the owner's behaviour unprofessional and felt there was a significant gap between how the company presented itself and how staff were treated behind the scenes. This was one of the worst working environments I have experienced.
