Favoritism and nepotism reign supreme. If you are a nurse, you are part of a protected class. Otherwise, you fight for everything you need to do your job. The CEO plays favorites in every phase of her job. Interesting that she "quietly" left her last position at Seton in Daly City. Do a google search and you will see what I am talking about. To show how bad the management truly is, I was there almost three years. During that time, the Chief Operations Officer, Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Medical Officer all resigned. Morale was at an all-time low when I was there. I have never worked for a company that was so depressing. After working for over two years I got a raise. A whopping 2%, which didn't even begin to cover my rent increase. Management receives raises every year while the people who actually DO the work struggle. Lots of outsourcing - Records Management, Dietary Services, Security, Housekeeping Management. Computer equipment is old and outdated unless you are providing direct patient care where it is visible to the public. Otherwise, you make do with slow and pathetic hardware.
