This was just a part-time job to make some extra money - however, I grew to like the job because of the way the place was run and the friendliness of the employees. Compared to other restaurants, Longhorn went the extra mile w/ health insurance, constant training, flexibility with schedules and ability to try meals for free so you know what you are selling. The managers stood up for you when dealing with a bad customer.

It is not an easy job running around on your feet for 6+ hours at a time. Unfortunately no breaks when working a doubleshit and hard to get time to eat so spend a lot of your shift starving. Plus always having to deal with bad customers and bad tips - so salaries can be all over the place. The sidework can be a bit much - adding on a couple of extra hours to any shift.
