If the previous analyst made an error, it still goes against you. I'm all for personal accountability, but it can be paralyzing. Due to the high workload and premium on accuracy, expect to work long hours with very few breaks (even if they tell you anything to the contrary in the interview). Most analysts work least 50-60 hours a week, which makes the low salary levels even worse. -Low Morale: Almost everyone is constantly stressed. Your manager will be constantly stressed too. It wasn't unheard of for people to be crying at their desks.
