Vantaggi
If you are a hard worker and demonstrate a commitment to your work, you'll do fine here. A positive attitude goes a long way, too. Dart does a ton of promoting from within which is great for career mobility, and the company events for corporate employees in Mason are pretty lavish and lots of fun. 401k match & company contribution are great, but you do have to stay with the company for several years before it is fully vested as your own. The people, for the most part, are great too. Very welcoming and almost everyone I've met has been helpful or at least truly wanted to help. The fitness center and cafe are both beautiful and nice additions--makes it so easy to socialize during work hours which can be bad if used in excess but overall I think helps productivity by improving morale. I've met so many kind people since working at Dart--the people really make it great. And having new pretty offices helps make you want to come to work, too.
Svantaggi
-Some departments have different rules than other departments...this makes it very difficult to retain employees in the "strict" departments if the employee has a skillset that can be utilized in a different, relaxed department. -Annual increases are very low, and you do not experience the joy of receiving a big cash bonus every year. -Middle-management has little clout when it comes to department spending, team trainings, group policies. -PTO seems to be less than at other comparable companies. -The company values teamwork and while that is also a Pro, the Con of teamwork is that there is rarely a person who can just make a final decision. Because of all the people who constantly have to be included in the process, decisions and actions get delayed.
