      Before the 2020 layoffs, the Domain Expert team was a fascinating collection of intellectually curious people who are polyglots, experts in all fields of knowledge, and keen observers of global situations. The company has since moved in a different direction.

      Management obsessed over employee survey results without taking substantial action or making lasting changes. They also lied about building a “career path” before laying off a good chunk of us all at once.

Dataminr is a fast-growing company and like all businesses, sometimes we have to make extremely difficult decisions which we never take lightly. Our investment in the career development of our people is on-going.
