For the most part Dataminr is a great place to work. Loads of benefits and work life balance and you work alongside a good product. The people are also great, Dataminr do well hiring an inclusive workforce that has a good culture.

Svantaggi

Leadership spent the entirety of 2022 telling us at town halls the company is in a great position to weather the storm (recession) and would not be making any large layoffs. 1 week into the new year and they cut the vast majority of the International Business from leadership all they way down to SDR's. For corporate organisations in any non volatile regions the product is deemed as a nice to have and not essential. Therefore it does not and will not sell at a high velocity to private sector businesses.
