Area Director is very flexible with your schedule like for doctor's appointments/kids sick/personal matters. As long as your stuff is done and you're not behind management is very fair about letting you have time off when you need it. I think they are a very family oriented company and I really enjoyed that. Also if you start out at the lowest point in that company (direct care) you have excellent opportunity to move up in the company.
Svantaggi
I was a Support Manager so I dealt with mostly paperwork and making sure consumer's charts were in order/up to date and dealing with if consumers were happy with where they lived/their staff/their Dayhab etc. This was all pretty easy except when survey comes and does their annual survey. At the end of the day even if all your stuff is in line if someone else doesn't have everything done they need to the whole team suffers and has to pick up the slack. I can't call that too much of a con because that's the end result of working in a team. However, I did feel like sometimes management let other people not meet expectations regularly with little or no recourse so that was frustrating sometimes. I'm the type of person that can't stand to have a "to-do" pile of work and likes to get things done immediately so maybe I'm a little bias.
