This is no longer a technical agency but a contracting agency. The technical workforce has left with the last technical executive retiring with no replacement. Advanced technical training is not provided or funded. Priorities and reorganizations are routine, there is little stability. This agency is currently on a course for closure by the DoD and has lost the majority of executive leadership that has not been replaced. You will learn bureaucracy here not advance your technical skills. You will review contracts not build or manage systems. Agency has contracted its main functions to its detriment. Little to no room for technical advancement ... technical positions have been converted to non technical positions with no degree/education requirements.
