The pay was horrible. I was workings for the State of Delaware for 18 years. I started making $15 an hour and when I left I was only making $16 an hour. Training is a huge issue with the Administrative roles for DHSS and DSAMH as a whole. I had to learn everything on my own, using my own resources, I had to navigate through systems with little to no guidance. There is no room for growth or advancement, unless you are in the upper managements "clique". If you are, you will go far!
