Vantaggi
I've had the opportunity to work at and with a handful of large and mid-level development firms. Dexis nails it on the work culture, staff satisfaction, and generally positive atmosphere. And where the organization is really excelling too is doing more and more substantial and meaningful development work around the world, which we all have a passion for. I've often found it hard to distinguish oneself or even find opportunity in a larger, well established firm that may not be putting a premium on its employees, especially at the junior or mid-level. Dexis isn't like that at all, leadership and responsibility is considered a pre-requisite at every level here. I think as a fast growing organization they're also putting a premium on building internal capacity, processes, and procedures so the growth is measured and sustainable.
Svantaggi
I think long term pieces are coming together still, internal training courses, processes, and being cohesive overall since there have been so many new faces even in a short time. But being a part of that process and growing the organization in a profound way is exactly what drew me here, so it's less of a con than a sense of opportunity in my mind.
