Excellent employee policies for the most part, great emphasis on team building. If your line manager is interested, lots of opportunities for training and growth and development.

Unfortunately senior management rarely implements the great policies that are handed down at the parent level. Rather they find ways to elude the spirit of the policies. HR responsibilities have been moved to the line managers which leaves employees with no real place to turn for issues.

Furthermore, these managers often lack technical expertise regarding machinery and engage in excessive micromanagement of employees. The workplace lacks diversity as defined, and the hiring representatives are typically the same floor leads that micromanage peers creating unfair hiring process at Diageo. Many individuals who have encountered the corrupt practices lead reps in previous jobs are frequently denied opportunities.
