I absolutely love working at DigiCert. There is lots of room to advance your career as well as your own skill set and all of the managers are supportive of personal growth. DigiCert cares about their employees and puts things in place to make them feel appreciated as well as have a good work-life balance, like: - Bi-yearly reviews - Above average compensation - Pay-it-forward program - Fully stocked kitchen and catered lunches 2x weekly - Yearly DigiTrip - Company parties for the whole family - Flexible work schedule

I wish that there was better communication between upper management and then down to the employees. Sometimes it is hard to know where the company is going next because the corporate strategy/financial standing is not communicated. Feedback is also not communicated effectively from upper management.

We hear you and improving communication with our teams is a top priority. We've tried to carefully balance general messaging and interaction directly from the executive team and communication from individual department leaders. What we ultimately want is to have regular communication from executive team members, but strong communication from department leaders to their teams. We can and need to do better in training department leaders to better communicate our company goals with their teams. We've already been meeting with a few teams to start helping them along and to help people see our quarterly goals and development plans. Over the new few months employees should see more frequent meetings within their departments to review high level plans and ensure that we're all on the same page.

I have loved my team and manager since day 1. I stay because DigiCert continues to provide me with professional development opportunities. I began as a file clerk and now manage a team doing complex operational efficiency work. They supported me through an MBA and each year I take at least one course and attend at least one industry event to help expand my skill and reach. The pay is average, BUT when you add in the value of the above-average benefits, the total remuneration package is great.

DigiCert is owned by Private Equity. If you have not worked for a PE portfolio company before, it means they focus solely on making money and stripping out what they deem as fluff (which I deem as retention levers, like company parties and swag).
