Vantaggi
There used to be rushes to reach impossible deadlines given to clients but that's improved significantly. Management actually listen to you and most of the time make changes based on the feedback. The day-to-day is great where the work is based off comprehensive (but in a good way) requirements that have been analysed beforehand by the team. The technology we're developing is genuinely cutting edge. We're still doing hybrid working where you can come into the office whenever you want which is very flexible. We have meetups with the Manchester team roughly every 2nd month where the company provide free pizza and beer/fizzy drinks. Chatting to management feels very relaxed - no snobbery. Free training is also provided via Pluralsight where apparently roughly half a day per week can be used for training. Salary feels like it's at least meeting averages. Senior management seem to have a decent direction for the product based on market needs.
Svantaggi
No clear criteria on how to professionally develop within the company e.g. what makes a graduate developer become a standard developer. Yearly objectives seem to be ignored altogether when it comes to review time. Makes it feel like you can't grow within the company through titles or salary.
