Vantaggi
When hired at DigitalCrafts in January 2020 I was expected to help launch a new campus and assist individuals to learn a new skill and help them get a job. Then came the pandemic which squashed all of our progress to open a new campus and made everything questionable moving forward. The Co-CEOs did a great job managing the crisis. While there were some pain points of letting some people go during an economic rough time our team was able to take on the challenges under their leadership. During the pandemic there was and still is a national call for social justice. Both CEOs and the team rallied around the cause implementing new practices as to how we hire, built training modules and most importantly provided dignity to all. During this pivotal time our leadership team began to understand the impacts of an equitable workforce. Many initiatives began such as the "You Belong in Tech" scholarship and a partnership with an organization to provide services to 200+ individuals from low socio-economic and underrepresented backgrounds. DigitalCrafts prior to its acquisition was a healthy place to work and will be one of the best jobs I've ever had. The culture of the DigitalCrafts team is hard to beat. I left the company before the acquisition so I am unable to comment on current benefits, etc..
Svantaggi
start up culture (if that's something you don't like) Not many growth opportunities
