Vantaggi

- cool designs, which aligned with my aesthetic

Svantaggi

- verbal abuse, Dilara makes horrible jokes about her interns and screams at her employees a lot. Very challenging environment to work in, especially if you have any mental health issues, this place will destroy your self-esteem - no weekends, worked daily for 3 months, around 90 hours per week. They wouldn't even pay for transport or lunch. - No organisation skills, no planning

Vantaggi

Clothes can be cool sometimes

Svantaggi

Verbally abusive, copies other people’s ideas/designs, yells at her employees, rude, makes interns do ridiculous tasks, no respect… That one season she took off due to lack of funds was not true, she comes from a very wealthy family in Turkey It’s because nobody wanted to work for her

Vantaggi

There is nothing that is positive

Svantaggi

I interned here for 3 months and it was a terrible experience overall. The internship was unpaid, and we were often forced to stay until very late at night, sometimes into the early morning. The main reason is that the brand is severely understaffed and over capacity. The founder usually arrives in the afternoon or evening and then decides to work through the night and she expects everyone else to stay with her. She only has about 3 full-time employees, who all look exhausted and overworked, while the rest are unpaid interns. Every evening, interns were even asked to withdraw cash to pay her seamstress, which felt completely inappropriate. I also witnessed a lot of toxic behaviour: staff being manipulated, gaslit, and spoken to in an abusive way. The founder constantly nitpicks and finds things to criticise. There’s also someone on the team who spends most of her day online shopping or scrolling Instagram, but still told interns not to speak in their native languages and instead “get better at English,” which was very uncomfortable. The only positive part of the experience was the younger full-time staff, who were genuinely kind and supportive. They’re the only reason the experience was bearable. Overall, though, this brand feels toxic and exploitative. It’s not a place that values or respects its employees, only the boss’s ego.
