Amazing place to work for those who actually listen to your parents who said, "Work hard, be honest, and you will make good money." You can start as a tech and as you bust your but and go above expectation you will get noticed (if you are at a good location), and offers for advances will come. I did all I could to hit the ground running and I had myself a $1 raise within 4 months and that's after starting at well above minimum wage. If you are not planning on attending college for whatever reason, this is the best opportunity for your to work in a holism, honest atmosphere that after the hard work is put in, you can make some decent money, better than other none degree jobs, that's for sure. I was also quickly offered advances in position (in street terms) basic tech, advanced helper tech, to leader tech, etc pretty darn quick. Again, if you bust your butt, you will get noticed, that's the bottom line. And no other company I have ever worked for will have your back as much as DTC as long as you are upholding their values because it is all based on honest and integrity. I always said this is the perfect place for parents to send their kids to learn how to work hard, but its also the best place for college students to go to support young families and/or pay your way through school. Always have worked around my schedule. Always getting raises if you're always working hard. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE NOTICED FOR JOBS WELL DONE weather its a broken store record, or just high volume, bonuses are pretty common when a store is doing well. Bruce Holley is the man!

Every person their thinks they know the best answer for problems and every person there can do it better. Gets in the way a LOT! If you work for a good store manager this should be minimal but its bound to happen eventually. Some store managers will make a lot of empty promises. Language in the garage can be rough at times, but nothing like your average car shops. Winters are super slow, techs get sent home on a as needed bases. So techs in summer are making even up to 40 hours sometimes more, winter I have seen 20 hour work weeks with very open availability. But going back to the pros, if you're the hardest worker, you'll get the most hours either way. Management can be sort of political, and is often full of hot heads who need to take classes on business management and employee ethics. Lots of head butting almost daily. Because its pretty rare that mangers when to any kid of schooling, let alone business schooling they don't seem to get that there is a formulated way to handle some situations and you can tell the difference in those who have gone to school (in business courses).
