Not clear if company is primarily IT professional services or product (software) company Salesmen run an entire services team Many technology employees have legacy skills and are not encouraged to grow Many highly toxic, political environments Think really hard before you say yes to any offer. If you can, talk them into trying you out as an independent contractor instead.
