      Good salary. Great hours! School lets out at 3:00 instead of 4:00 for public middle schools.

      Administration offers no help to teachers! Parents are given the upper hand involving their uncontrollable children. The school has gone down to a D. One department doesn't even have a textbook for students. Even if a student horribly fails an assignment, they have to be given at least a 50%!

      Good rapport with the youth. Good staff. Flexible. Good pay. Upbeat environment.

      Can be mentally draining, given that you're working with youth who come from lots of different backgrounds, and who have different types of behavioral issues.

      Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Warm, welcoming environment made work more enjoyable. Communication is fantastic, and staff keeps everything running in a well organized manner. Facilities are clean and neat and all equipment is in good working order. School sponsored activities and family literacy nights provide plenty of opportunities for community fellowship.
