Dollar Tree, as a whole, does not care about it's employees. It's all about volume, volume, volume, even at the expense of the safety of their employees. They have unrealistic expectations of smaller stores. We are paid less, but expected to do the work of 5 people or more. There are no hours to complete the jobs needing to be done. They left my store manager with no other management, for a month. She was there open to close everyday. I transferred there, so I could help. They expected us to have things done, by ourselves, like a fully staffed store. But didn't give us the hours to staff the store accordingly. Cut 50 hours off our schedule, the week of Christmas. So we were minimally staffed. Customers were unhappy, & we had a hard time keeping up. The pay sucks. With no incentive.
