      The only good thing was that the company paid really well and the operators and some supervisors looked out for each other really well.

      Svantaggi

      Dangerous, lack of proper maintenance, little to no communication between staff and operators, had to audit your own pay checks to make sure you got what you worked, etc.

      Close knit excellent maintenance teams that seem to do the impossible with the amount of understaffing over the years. Couldn't ask for a better place or people to work with. I have loved my time at this mill. Domtar has no idea at the quality of the institution\people that they are casting off into the abyss.

      Svantaggi

      The corporation as a whole I am not a fan of. It seems they acquired Resolute FP to strategically dismantle it. They have closed several of the RFP mills and Coosa Pines an absolute institution that has been the backbone of the community for over 75 years is the next on the chopping block in May 2026.
