Vantaggi
Let me start off by saying that because we're independently owned, our rules may be different and our owner runs her store different then most others. - Easy. Even though i've seen many, MANY people struggle with this job or just plain not want to learn more then the minimum (Front counter) it's not hard to learn everything if you keep trying - Flexible. Will work around your schedule, and because morning shifts are the main part of this businesses you have the rest of your day to do what you need. - Something for everyone. You can stay on front register and get okay hours if you're good, you can go to drive thru if you want more hours, and if you get good at sandwiches you can be there and get really good hours. If you're like me then you can do a bit of everything throughout the day, moving place to place where you're needed. - Get to know everyone well, including the owner of the store
Svantaggi
- Sandwich station makes front counter and drive-thru food, meaning during peak hours the sandwich person can get overwhelmed (Max of two people will fit in the small station, and i'm in a big store) - Low level job, meaning most people don't care and will call out daily. Lots of turnover, meaning you have to pick up their slack - Low pay, and you wont get over 40 hours unless you're a supervisor or under special circumstances
