I believe the family that owns a majority of the company really does care about patients’ lives. Both Billerica and Rockland sites are located outside of Boston/Cambridge area so not as congested. Billerica does have a bus stop for commuters.

Company is riddled with compliance issues in more than one discipline. Problem is, they either don’t have the experience, want to hide the issues or just plain refuse to fix them. German management was afraid that if he fixed the CFR issues identified “it would look bad on him”, so chose not to fix them. Management is adverse to communication impacting other departments regarding issues (“someone else’s problem”). Feel that there is a complete lack of respect for U.S. law and perspective from experienced employees. Upper management instructs employees how to fill out yearly employee engagement survey and says that if you aren’t happy you can leave (and they’d help) instead of listening and striving to make improvements to retain talent. Company has been having major turn over AGAIN in multiple disciplines. If you think you can be the one to change them, think twice. It is a deeply embedded culture.
