Then they will give the work you wanted to someone who has No familiarity with the project. Even if you have prior experience performing the work, they will give it to somebody else just because of job title/career level. -Management values the voices and opinions of certain demographic, others voices are valued or considered -Company grew too much too quick and did not reward staff on the ground putting in a lot of hard work to ensure projects were successful -Management does not provide meaning constructive feedback when you make a mistake, they avoid you and stop giving you work.
