Vantaggi

ESV US is a relatively small team within a larger international organization, that is rapidly growing in terms of business offering and team size, so there are lots of opportunities to learn and gain experience. - Massive growth opportunities to develop skills in multiple aspects of digital marketing - Individual contribution has real impact towards the organization and accounts managed - Autonomy on projects and accounts - Opportunity to work with an international team - Flat hierarchy - Great team and no office politics - Lots of flexibility (work hours, working from home, etc.) within reason

Svantaggi

- Compensation and benefits are not great (but the experiences and skills gained at ESV can become very valuable for building a career down the road) - Since ESV is a small team, there can be a lack of instruction and supervision, so employees need to be very self-driven

Vantaggi

I got to meet some really cool people, but those people left a couple of months after I did.

Svantaggi

Where do I begin. This company is so poorly run, it's amazing they are still in business. -- If you work in the US, your opinion doesn't matter. It's all France all the time with this company. But more importantly, you have to embrace France -- There is no HR or anyone to talk to. When I first started, I was promised a bonus after 3 months. At the 3 month mark, I didn't receive the bonus. When I called the "office manager" in Paris, she said "Sorry, I forgot." The bonus was eventually received. -- I was told they had a sales list of over "300 companies" for me to call. There was no list. And when I brought it up, management acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. -- The CEO once told me one of the value propositions of the company was that he went to MIT. His exact words to me were "Tell them I went to MIT. That usually impresses people." The reality is, there were no value props in the US because there was no game plan for the US. -- Upper Management could care less about employees. There is no training, salaries are mediocre at best, and there is nobody to voice your opinion to.
