- Teams operate in complete isolation with little to no coordination - Constant repetition of the same questions because no one knows what others are doing - Work is often duplicated or undone due to a lack of awareness between teams - No consistent status updates or information sharing across departments - Cross-team communication and meetings are rare or nonexistent - Important information frequently gets lost within separate silos - Processes take significantly longer due to a lack of coordination - Effort is wasted fixing or redoing work that was already completed elsewhere - Employees are forced to work independently without alignment, leading to conflicts in output - Over time, people stop trying to coordinate and just focus on their own tasks
