Vantaggi

Benefits within this company: * you have the ability to order shirts from Land's End twice a year (usually 4 from a pre-selected grouping) * you receive money for PPE (steel-toe shoes, etc.) * you receive a portion of money every month toward your cell phone bill * vacation amount is decent, in addition to your two weeks, you also have some Emergency Days you can take; after three years, you get three weeks vacation

Svantaggi

Cons within this company: * you are usually working at another company's site (a manufacturer) and this makes you feel disconnected from EWIE itself, you are kind of on an island with only your small team * HR doesn't seem to care much about your concerns, at least not at my location * if there are issues between you and someone from the manufacturing company or another company you need to work with, you will not be supported (again, my experience) * the pay is not great * not much room to grow * you might have to work weekends and holidays (some locations more so than others)

Vantaggi

Ewie is a decent company to work for. All of my direct managers have been wonderful people. There is also a wealth of knowledge available once meet some others within the company. Very stable. I feel that I have strong job security.

Svantaggi

Raises, bonuses, and other compensation are lacking. 2-2.5% yearly raises just don't keep up with inflation. It also feels like they try everything they can to justify not giving you your full potential bonus. Lastly, the PTO scale is misleading. Talking to quite a few people both within, and outside of the company, the handbook makes it seem like you earn a third year of PTO after working here for three years. But as it turns out, you don't get an additional week of PTO until you've started your fifth year of employment. Upper management also offers very little support to site management. My original manager spent months begging for assistance with a uncooperative customer. We were just told to keep trying. Then when the end of the year came our bonuses were punished due to all the issues we tried to get support with.
