There are literally more managers and AVPs than actual developers here — it feels like every other person is someone’s boss. Developers are treated like machines, forced to work late nights and weekends because apparently, “dedication” means having no life. And after doing endless overtime, guess what? The only thing that gets promoted is my manager — while I’m left with a shiny new motivational quote: “Work hard to get promoted.”
