I personally had a horrible experience with management. My general manager was careless and completely wrapped up in her own life and meanwhile expected her lower grade employees to take up the slack she was missing such as making schedules, opening and closing the store, completing inventories and shipments, etc. The employment and scheduling is based on sales but if your store is in a bad location then you simply cannot help that your numbers are bad, yet your hours suffer for it. Personally, in our store, it became a very "sharky" environment in which when there were good sales, they were often stolen by the assistant manager who would then bully employees.
