      Strong emphasis on learning, exposure to many different applications and industries. Excellent support for R&D with plentiful resources. Very good Relatively stress free job with great work-life balance.

      Svantaggi

      R&D employees often viewed as second class by business people. Large disconnect between R&D and sales and marketing groups. Very slow growth potential with limited opportunities to move up the ladder.

      Everything. You are on your own to sink or swim. If you have a family or a life outside of work you and kiss them goodbye because you will never see them again. You will drive 5 hour one way and work 9 hours in the hot sun with only a 30 minute lunch break and then drive 5 hours back home only to have to do it again the next day which is only a few more hours.
