      Ecolab does a great job of providing development opportunities. The organization wants you to have a variety of experiences and will encourage you to take them. If you're a top performer, or with the "in" crowd, you will be rewarded

      The finance org rewards "results" over "people". Upper management is full of bad people managers. Also, because everyone rotates ever 1.5-2 years, a lot of leaders seem technically incompetent because they and their teams are all new in their roles. There is also a ton of projects from upper management that aren't well thought out and cause too much chaos.

      A job and make some money

      Everything. You are on your own to sink or swim. If you have a family or a life outside of work you and kiss them goodbye because you will never see them again. You will drive 5 hour one way and work 9 hours in the hot sun with only a 30 minute lunch break and then drive 5 hours back home only to have to do it again the next day which is only a few more hours.
