Tier 3 has its challenges. At one point, management did care about its employees and there was an overall sense of collaboration and inspiration. The department has evolved into a toxic environment with incompetent and untrustworthy management who no longer cares. There is no sense of direction, employees are dispensable and are taken advantage of. Edmunds prides itself on a great working environment but Tier 3 seems to get left in the dark or has its own hidden and disorganized agenda.

My experience here has been exceptional. The company offers a fantastic work-life balance, a supportive culture, and generous perks, all within a fully remote setup. The team is genuinely caring, and I've found ample opportunities for growth thanks to the ability to rotate teams. I initially planned to stay for a copule years before moving to a big tech company, but I've been so impressed that I've been here for many years and plan to stay longer.

Since the company operates on a nearly full-remote model, there are fewer opportunities for in-person socialization; however, the option to work from the office is always available for those who want to connect with colleagues. While the compensation is competitive and by no means low, it is important to note that it is less than what's offered by major tech companies, and no stock options are included as part of the compensation package.
