It's hard to pinpoint one thing that makes working here great. It's a little bit of everything : 1. The mission is inspiring: We're all genuinely trying to make a dent in children's education. It's a great feeling to get up to every day. 2. We work as a team: It's so refreshing working with incredibly talented but humble people. We do have our share of rock stars but we operate more like a band - each win is everyone's win. This means we can each focus on what's important and work on what we're passionate about. 3. We collaborate; we don't compete: Everyone's pulling everyone up. I've learned so much in the year I've been here (and I'm hoping people have learned from me in the same way). Whenever I'm in a bind, people are always ready to help. We work through issues together, learn from each other. It's that growth mindset. 4. People listen: The product is truly organic here - we all throw in our ideas, opinions, thoughts, and feedback. We openly communicate with our customers, our stakeholders, and each other constantly, and we are honest about it. 5. It's fun: Things always feel light in the office for some reason. I've never had to drag myself into work a single day in my entire stay here. Whenever I stay long hours, it's out of passion, not obligation.
